So we were a better team than OM? That's what a bad loss should be, right? No, the better team one that one. Our entire fan base is a bunch of AL Bundys. Played jr high ball but know it all. No one wanted to be in Memphis tonight. Not the team and not the fans. Throw in poor performances and major absences on the OL, DL and secondary and you got what you got. For some reason our fans have this belief that we are a top 15 team when it couldn't be talent wise more from the truth. We need stability and the keep improving through recruiting and the portal. We aren't talented enough to just show up like we did tonight and win.

There's no excusing the way we looked tonight. Both teams had players out, but we had players out mostly on DEFENSE. No excuse for only scoring 7 against a 6-6 Big12 team. None. So y'all can take the excuses somewhere else. This was a Bad BAD loss. This one combined with the Egg Bowl, killed all the momentum built down the stretch this year, and puts a huge damper on next season's expectations. And Leach's expectations as a whole going forward. Tonight was like we reverted back to year 1 of Leach. Horrible, embarrassing, and unacceptable. He better get this shit fixed bc we fired Moorhead for a better record than what Leach has had through 2 years...just sayin.

So we loose to a 10-2 OM team who has never won 10 games in a season, so prolly one of if not their best teams ever, yet we were suppose to win that game, even though we dropped 4 TD passes in like 3 mins, and yet its a BAD loss even though they were better and we all knew it, and Leach should be fired for it, and while we are at it, fire Cohen cause all he cares about is baseball and not the stinky cups or hard pretzels, even thought he got us what EVERYONE of us as MISSISSIPPI STATE FANS WANTED THE MOST WHICH WAS A BASEBALL NATTY (yall can sit there and deny this all you want. We are known for baseball and nothing else. You could maybe throw WBB in there for awhile, but we literally have never EVER won anything else and yall act like we are too good to be loosing football games and we deserve to win in the sport. We are the damn paterfamilias in BASEBALL, we were only lacking a natty...) Did I get that right?

I get it, tonight sucked and we looked horrible on Offense. I thought the defense played pretty well once they settled in. But it seems like once the defense bows up and lets their balls drop and Will says 17 you to them and continues to play like shit, they just give up, which is what I thought happen. If Will lets his balls drop and plays like he can, it seems the whole team feeds off it, EX Auburn.... I'm gonna chalk that up to Will being young still in a sense...

Now to say that, I think Locke or Robertson needs to push Will next year. If either of them are better, tell Will to sit and watch. We cant go through games where Will doesn't get off the bus. We also need a leader to step up on offense. There is no excuse for someone to grow a set and step up. Polk, Will, DJ, hell AW has been here for 10 years, he is practically a coach now....

Texas Tech came in hungry and wanting to beat Leach. They did it. Badly... Kuddos for them.

We were favored in both games, double digits tonight.

For the record, how many were out on offense? That?s the issue hoss!

The OM defense had nothing to do with 3 dropped TDs

Yeah, when you are favored, and especially at home against your bitter rival, and you lose it is a bad loss. These last two games cannot be sugar coated in any shape, form or fashion. Bad losses. And the bowl game was a complete and utter embarrassment.

State fans make excuse after excuse. End of the day, Mississippi State football lost a game that could have moved the football program forward. But nope.... another L. Just over and over, it's the same story with MSU football

Mullen laid the foundation for a solid program. We have more former players representing us in the nfl than ever before. State has more exposure than ever before. But hey let's scrape the house plans to bring in a comedian with a plastic offense that is so entertaining. Leach fits at MSU football like the Alumni building fits in on campus.

Winning is entertaining. State wins on defense, a Stud athletic QB and a RB. Cohen better figure that out quick.

both Tackles were out--Heath was out--Tolu got hurt--Polk looked hurt. Will had a bad game---in the Air Raid your QB can't have a bad game and win.

Cross opting out hurt us. I get that. Ashley being out was a blessing. Heath being out was a non factor. Keep making excuses all you want but the offense sucked last night. We knew the D was going to be hurting but the offense has no excuses. None. Especially against a shitty Big 12 D.

    One side

Of the ball feeds off the other.. We had double digits players out, the team didn?t want the be there. This isn?t new for bowl games? It?s all about who wants to play and is more motivated.. Look at the last couple of NY6 games , Florida and Georgia getting boat raced by Oklahoma and Texas? Those games would?ve been different if played in the reg season, same for our game last night ? People are putting way too much importance on this game .. It really doesn?t mean a whole lot?

Of course Tech's interim coach knowing Leach's system like the back of his hand didn't help. They had three weeks to plan.
