I'll disagree slightly - the bowl games I've watched other than ours have been entertaining. Lots of close games and a number of upsets (according the spread). I really enjoyed watching Auburn blow their lead and losing. Florida getting taken to the woodshed is always a delight.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

TT was also better than we were expecting (at least me anyway)
We looked exactly like we looked on Thanksgiving.

wut? If you think the tackles/lines picked up the twists and blitzes well then either you do not know football as well as you think or we were watching different games

Fine. Everyone's fault, but will and leach.
ETA... Bowl games and total offense...

2021: 73 plays 344 yds 4.71 per play

I'm out. I only watched TT first series yesterday. My interest level in today's game has been flushed down the toilet.

You are seeing the results of what the transfer portal, opting out and NIL deals. It is what it is and I dont think it will ever come back.
I pretty much agree with you Bucky, I think this new "Transfer Portal/Opt out//NIL" world is a big factor! We sucked in all phases of the game last night! We must have NO depth at all!

Exactly.

TT Secondary was a carbon copy of the egg bowl. We still have made no adjustments other than to run when the box isn't full. On several occasions last night we ran the ball with a full box and the pre snap read appeared to be useless. I would think the air raid works more efficiently when a TE is used like WKU does. Extra blocker and can rub and grab a quick over the top pass since we don't ever go deep to take the top off.

But this team is also poorly coached. There's no question about it. But if we go to a bowl game, our AD won't care. He puts the bare ass minimum into our football program or any program not baseball. Our money guys are fine with it, because they get the LT treatment.
So many of our fans don't get this at all. The "it's all about me" generation.

Would not depth be attributed to the previous staff?s recruiting plus the 2 opt outs plus the Covid restricted players? Sounds like a bad combination of ills to me. But effort should never ever ever be a problem and that is most definitely coaching and conditioning. Why conditioning? Because apparently they didn?t work their asses off in prep for this game.
Remember what you saw yesterday is what will be the core of next year?s team. I remember several years ago when Ole Miss was going through their bad coaches and teams, a sports writer wrote this (paraphrased) :
The good news for Ole Miss is that nearly everybody will be back next year. The bad news for Ole Miss is that nearly everybody will be back next year!!
Is our situation that bad for next year???
