If he bolts Oxford for Eugene in the middle of the night I'm gonna probably need to take a day off for laughing so hard.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they hired Mullen.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

I'd be pretty surprised.
Is the delay for fickell?

I think it's Chip Kelly's to turn down. If he stays at UCLA it could get pretty interesting.
I don't think Kiffin goes but I didn't see LSU hiring away ND's head coach either.

Is it true that Kiffin's buyout stayed the same 1.5-2 million is the rumor I heard. If so U of O could easily buy that out.
-
Yea. Kiffin ain't stupid. He left an easy out and he will likely take it

If Phil Knight supports the move, there?s no buy out that?ll be an issue.

Oregon's Track and Field though is impressive in history. I looked at the 247 Oregon site about coaches and they had a thread about their T&F recruiting. I would imagine that is like us for baseball.
Back to Kiffin, it is interesting on their site their staff writer said Kiffin reached out to them.

Andy Avalos, Boise State's current coach, used to be the DC at Oregon, so that seems like a good possibility.
-
Avalos
Chip Kelly
Chris Peterson
Lane Kiffin
Matt Rhule
These will probably the top candidates. I still think if Kelly wants it then it will be his to turn down.

It sounds like Kelly is not their top person as of the last 24 hours. Their 247 staff writer posted an article today saying , his thoughts only, that they need something better than a safe hire and Kelly would be the safe route. Some posters say an NFL coach may be in the lead. One thing for sure, the fan base online wants Kiffin, even though the call him a mercenary for hire, lol

Kiffin ain't going to Oregon. He's staying in Oxford....

Not sure if Oregon offers him the job, but their 247 staff writers say Kiffin reached out to Oregon with interest. Plus that extension he signed still has the low buyout and not updated.
Sounds like Kiffin is interested anywhere but Oxford if a team will offer him the job.

Reports are Kiffin reached out to Oregon. Don?t know if mutual interest.

Sounds like their 247 version of Steve Robertson said there is plenty of interest on their side.
