    Sec basketball is good

    OM beat memphis yesterday
    Alabama beat Gonzaga.

    Could have 6 teams (ky, Alabama, Florida, ark, tenn, and auburn) in top 18 this week. There will be very few gimmes this year in conference.

    Yep, I think it will be the best it's ever been, top to bottom. We need to win our non conference games, these next two are huge. Then manage to be at least .500 in conference.

    The Bama win is a very good win. om over Memphis is not good. Memphis lost to Georgia the other night.

    Our next game is looking like a very big one as well. Colorado State is 9-0 and just beat the brakes off St. Mary's.

    Penny is not a good coach. He can recruit well but his team now lost to Ole Miss that will probably finish 9th in the SEC and UGA who will probably finish last in the conference. I think they lost to Iowa State as well but Iowa State is good this year so that is maybe excusable but not Ole Miss or UGA

    I would say those 7 teams have a good shot at all being anywhere from 1-6 seeds. We can also get in probably between 8-10 if we can go 10-3 in non conference and 10-8 in SEC play with the strength of the conference. Not sure I see any other team making it unless TAMU or Ole Miss get a few big wins
