Agreed. Gary needs to be sent out to pasture.

How many times did they have Alabama on this year? Must have been at least 5.

Watch Big Noon on Fox you'll see what's wrong with CBS. The production quality is sub par compared to Big Noon.

CBS is an over the air network. Do you want pay station ESPN to own all of the SEC? That would evolve to the ESPN+ app moving into your sports viewing.

The SEC is about to be shown on whatever network forks over a billion dollars once Texas and Oklahoma join the conference. You may hate the schools but the ratings are going to be through the roof.

ESPN has already beat out CBS for the SEC after next year I think. You do know that ESPN also includes ABC now, right?

Gary Danielson is suffering brain damage from the 85 Bears defense and Lawrence Taylor.

Of course, I kind of doubt he was that intelligent to start with.

I believe that you are 100% correct with your statement. I also believe that I am 100% correct with my statement also. My point is if ABC is the only over the air provider of SEC football, the ABC/ESPN monopoly will not be good for non pay television. ABC could continue with its current programming and force the public into a pay TV environment, for SEC football, because of its monopoly.

The contract stipulates that ABC must play the prime time game of the week on the over the air ABC channel and I believe they won't be able to run the bottom ticker during the game or at least greatly minimize it.

They can also simulcast it on other streaming platforms as well and could do dual simulcast for bigger games like they do with Monday night football
