Bowling
I am excited and thankful for the season we had. I had expected 6, but was pleased with 7. As we look to get our Bowl assignment, I begin to wonder if there are any teams that just are bad matchups for us? Offensively- something unique like GT did to us in the Peach. Defensively- teams that see or have seen the AirRaid fairly often and play well against it. Just a discussion thread. If we go Texas, predicted opponents include WV and KSU.
-
I think that we match up well with both of those. I?ve not watched WV this year. Do they still run an AR variant? I think we are just better than KSU, if we play our game.
-
Honestly I didn't watch enough of our of SEC play this year to really gage other programs. Outside of the top 10 I think we give everyone a scare or are able to go toe to toe with them just based on the product we put on the field.

Hell I thought this was about our Bowling team. Do we have one?

I think the women's team just made regionals. No, that was volleyball.

I bowl about a 160-180 average , haven’t played in years. Tried it on vacation and after awhile I could spin it pretty good.
I’m not quite Bill Murray in Kingpin.

I thought the same thing. I assume we'd probably go with gymnastics before bowling though.

😂
This thread is better than I expected

GT in the Peach? Never played them in the Peach Bowl? wtf?

Orange, not peach. Brain fart, I guess. I didn?t even realize I typed Peach til you saw it.

Back when I bowled regularly I was at 235 average with high around 260-270 weekly. I wish Starkville had a bowling alley, because I would form a team and get after it.

Any bowl against any team is ok with me - as long as we don't wear those horrible sno-cone white helmets and all white uniforms. Those white helmets just suck sooooo bad!!

apples and oranges...not a lot of diff

260-270? I could do that........in about 2.5 games! I found out that apparently any bowling or pool shooting prowess I should have been born with got transferred to darts.

Well it was a forgettable game.

As long as we don't have SEC or PAC 12 refs I like our chances.

I must have Peach on the brain. Been upsetting my neighbor by saying Peach every time I see him. He?s praying for a Sugar Bowl.
