    Thamel saying Moorhead top candidate at Akron

    He was there for 5 years as an assistant. Would be interesting to see if he could move the needle there.

    Only 3 bowl games in their entire program history and only one coach with a winning record in the last 50 years.

    That's a tough job.

    His offense is great when a QB has 7-10 seconds to decide what to do with the ball. Unfortunately for him most SEC defenses don't give you that kind of decision making time. Slow white boy football makes his offense look like a juggernaut.

    I think Moorhead could do better, but maybe he's just itching to prove himself again. I hope he does well and is the best HC they've ever had.
