Other than being in LA, USC is the easier job and also should be able to easily recruit talent similar to SEC talent. Who want's to butt head in SECW and Saban every year, face GA is Championship game if you get there, and be fired in 3 years if you don't do both of those things.
Hell, LSU just fired Ogre 2 years removed from a Natty with one of those being a Covid year.

Exactly. SEC fans are insane. USC in comparison are laid back and they have been losing for so long it won’t take much to move things in the right direction. California is a great recruiting base.

Wonder if USC offered as much or more than the rumored $12-$13M/year that LSU offered? If so, Bama's going to have to come up with a sizable raise for Saban to keep him at the top.
