Rogers is a fine Christian Man while Corral is a Satan worshipping, gang banging thug bitch destined for hell. Does that stat factor in?

Forget at about Corral, here's all you need to know.

Rodgers is #2 in the country for passing yards.
Rodgers is #1 in the country for completion percentage.
Rodgers is #6 in the country for passing touchdowns.
Rodgers is #4 in the country for total offense.

Interesting indeed. You'd think for all the talk about how theirs is a big play passing offense and ours is dink and dunk, that Corral would have more than just one yard per attempt more than Will.

Yet we had Robbie Faulk arguing about how Corral has his Connerly Trophy vote because he’s more important to his team. Our media is ****ing clueless sometimes.

This! The thing is when you look at this it's not even really close statistically.

I think Robbie's usually very good, but I've been struggling to reconcile this one. He may be reasoning that Lovertich is much better than whoever their next man up is, which I think is accurate, but that's failing to take into account how much more crucial great (not good, great) QB play is to our offense than theirs.

The Connerly, by definition, is not a mvp award.

True it's for the best player but if you look at the stats then who would you judge as the best player?

Neither is the Heisman, but human bias usually always results in the MVP factor being used to thin out the field in any "overall best" award.

    Hard to say. Probably cross.

I just meant that faulk's argument that corral means more to his team is irrelevant bc it is not a mvp award.

I could see Cross but comparing the 2 qbs it's not hard to say who has been better, statistically Rogers has been the better player than Corral and it's not that close. It's best not most talented.

And I understand what you're saying about it not being an mvp award.

We need to be pumping out the graphic in the OP to every media source and on social media. I had no idea his conference numbers were that superior to corral

I agree. I knew Rogers had been dang good but it was more impressive than I first thought. Will has been lights out.
