    Major issues inside the FIU football program

    Very interesting read, including information that apparently we gave FIU our used shoulder pads for free a few years back when they needed some and they couldn't buy any.

    In an era of the haves and have nots, this is pretty sad that a program operates likes this:

    That's just horrible. I hope if Davis still has the fire he's given another chance somewhere. He's a good coach and could build another smaller program back up if given the chance.

    Once upon a time Butch Davis was a National Champ builder at Miami. Would have won two in a row, but he quit his job to coach the Cleveland Browns.

    BD was the biggest coaching name in college football in 2001. He could have won 3 or 4 straight NCs at Miami. Just one bad afternoon in Seattle and then taking the Cleveland poisoned pill. In an alternate world he could have matched Bud Wilkerson 47-0.
