OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

The way that reads to me is that MSU participated in digging them up and has the remains somewhere on campus. I think the plan is to put them back where they came from.

Some estimate that as many as 100 million indigenous people lived in the America's prior to colonization. Those estimates may be a high but consider that there was only about 50 million living in Europe at the time, one could say that you are correct.

I can see why the "Dead Injuns"would hold a grudge too, but why single out Mississippi State? If this gesture is sincere and helps, it will be the best $90,000 ever spent.

Cobb Institute of Archaeology is the likely repository on campus.

IIRC they have artifacts from a lot of WPA projects done in the 30's. And you are right, they have a lot.

After they're studied, remains are given back to the respective tribe for re-burial.
