Great article on Will Rogers from the Tennessean Paper.........

    Nick Gray, Nashville Tennessean

It's too bad there are not three All-SEC teams.

While the nation watches Ole Miss' Matt Corral in prime time against Texas A&M and awaits Alabama's Bryce Young against Auburn and (potentially) Georgia later this month, the best quarterback in the SEC resides in Starkville.

    Statistically, at least.

The Air Raid was an ugly sight at times last year, but Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers is running it as well as anyone has since Mike Leach's Texas Tech days.

Consider the 25-point comeback victory at Auburn, where Rogers had more second-half touchdown passes (5) than incompletions (2). In total, Rogers threw for 415 yards and six touchdowns in Mississippi State's 43-34 win.

On the season, one in which Mississippi State has beaten four ranked foes, Rogers has 3,722 yards and 29 touchdowns with eight interceptions and a 75.6% completion rate. Those are elite numbers, no matter the system, in the SEC.

Sure, Young and Corral get more exposure. But it's time to talk about Will Rogers, first-team All-SEC quarterback. Young and Corral have hit lulls over the last month, while Rogers has his foot on the gas pedal.

Yes, I know it's the Air Raid. But Rogers has four 400-yard passing games and has just one game with fewer than 300 yards. And in that game, he threw for 294 yards in an easy-breezy win against NC State.

It's an SEC West schedule, and with the exception of a three-interception game in a loss to Alabama, Rogers is putting numbers against everyone.

And if you don't believe me, start watching him. See what he does against the Ole Miss defense on Thanksgiving night. You'll either be surprised or yell, "See!" like I will be.

    Vote for Rogers.

Bryce Young is just a plug and play. I try to picture that guy playing on a middle of the road team and he just ain't gonna get it done. Corral love is deserved and I actually feel like he's getting the short end of the stick the last few weeks, falling off the pace to Young/Stroud who are just meh. I hope someone like Walker, Corral or Pickett win the Heisman over them.

I just can't fathom wishing an Ole Miss player to win the Heisman. Imagine how much bigger their heads would get. Can it get any bigger?

Will is getting it done. He is the best QB in the SEC.
