MoverS Helmets gaining social media attention
SECN account w/ 1 Million followers tweeting and espncfb account with 2.8 Million followers retweeting. Broad reach.
This is what positive publicity can do. This marketing cost 0 to tweet out and is promoted because the helmet looks good. We need to be wielding social media influence more. You wanna recruit better? This right here matters.

I have not ever seen our fans this excited about a helmet.

It is sharp! Of course someone will bitch regardless?

Speaks to the problem with Banner M, doesn't it?

Was never a great logo compared to msu or m over s

That logo looks like some unlicensed, Russell Athletic, Walmart, Chinese boot-leg, knock-off of an actual college logo. It is very hard for me to find any apparel that it looks good on.
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

I hate our banner crap! But, I feel like this is a copout. Its easy, free and lazy if we ended up giving this to the football team as well. They need their own logo. This looks like a baseball logo not a football logo. We should be able to get something really cool, and up to date for football.

Also, I hope I am wrong. But, this is not going to be seen well on TV. Its going to look like a white blob on the side of the helmet with some maroon spots blooding through. It looks cheap!

Then get a better tv, because I'm sure it'll look fine in 4K HD.

Send me some cash and I might. Just chopped a bunch trees down, took my tv money.

The 70's uniforms under Bob Tyler were great imo. Somewhat similar type helmets as shown in this thread and simple maroon jerseys with white pants at home and white on white on the road-without all the stripes. Texas A&M now has this type and is apparently establishing a tradition.

While any attention is good attention, the entire point of the SEC Network is to bring attention to anything that they think will help boost ratings in conjunction with a SEC school, so that doesn?t necessarily mean that they did it because they think it looks good, just that it?s something new and they?re doing their part marketing it. 2k likes and 60 comments sounds like it is mainly the home crowd paying attention, but hopefully some recruits do see it.
We have to do better marketing ourselves.

Huge fan of Threadgill era helmets AND UNIFORMS......but it does seem the DOGS need to capitalize on the natl championship and push the new helmet design. As far as the “blob” remark, maybe make it a little larger might help....in fact I think would look really good....
