    Rumblings out of Red Stick

The Ogre is done win or lose tomorrow. My corn dog friends say they expect a formal resignation Sunday. They must have finally gotten O to agree to a much smaller buyout.

This. Why not sucker the recruits in the early signing period THEN fire him? That would be consistent with what programs like them do.

It's not like he's hurting their recruiting right now. They are Top 10 right now. It really makes no sense to do this right now and guarantee a lame duck season with no head coach until best case December.

Getting out front of the search. Put feelers out to candidates through agents. That way as soon as the season over they can name a coach and he can start recruiting for early signing period. With the new dec signing day you will see more of this.

Mark Stoops would be at the top of my list. That guy does not get the credit he deserves.

I would be surprised to see Stoops leave the job security he has for a school firing their coach 2 seasons after a Natty

I think LSU chases the shiny toy Kiffin but I don’t think Kiff can handle adversity. He’s a meltdown waiting to happen

If Kiffin is smart he'll stay where he is permanently if possible.

Kiffin likes his current job but prefers being in Fla. Expect him to go hard after Miami

Yep, Lane and Miami go together like hookers and cocaine. If he leaves OM this year it's for Miami.

Mullen may be coaching LSU today. He's not coaching Florida. **
