I think it was the right call given the soft OM defense. Plus, the game had been going on forever, they couldn't keep OM from scoring in OT, and it looked like it was pretty hot in Oxford. They just didn't pull it off.

Yea I agree. The play call was horrendous though.

It was supposed to be a shovel pass to the RB but the Ole Miss DE blew up the LT and got in the way so Jefferson had to just scramble and try to make something happen
