    Side note that has nothing to do with this year but interesting none the less.

    1993. Last time State lost to Memphis, State played LSU at home the next week and lost 18-16. I'm somewhat sure it was a JP 11:30am game. Bruce Arians was the OC.

    My LSU buddies don't think LSU will run 3-8 defense. O prides himself of running a four man front, and they think he is hard headed enough to think he knows better.

    Guys, we may blow them out.

    I've said all week I think they stay with their base 4. But I still expect a lot of zone behind it. The key to me is can they consistently get pressure with their down 4. If they do, long day for us. If they don't we should have plenty of opportunities down the field. They lead the country in sacks.

    LSU is not good. Neither are we. I give LSU the edge, but either team can win this, and it won't be a "great" win either way. Loser goes home an even bigger loser than they came into the game.

    Line is 2 now. I don't think LSU is very good, but this would be a really big win for Leach if he can get it.

    We have a huge recruiting weekend. Winning this would be a great win in more ways than one.
