The most frustrating part is that I really believed Leach took our job because he wanted to prove his offense would work in the SEC. I will be honest I wasn?t a believer in it but I gave the guy credit for wanting to try. I truly believed he cared. I criticized him but said he deserved 3 years. It?s just extremely disappointing to see his reactions today prove that I was wrong and he doesn?t care. He is clearly collecting a paycheck to retiring and this should be an instant fire. The team has heart for trying to come back and people bashing Will need to stop. This team doesn?t give up and I respect that but it?s not because of leach it?s because of our players. Now fire this clown and go get a real coach that believes in these kids because we have the potential to be really good next year if we do

Anybody going to listen to the post-game? It'll be interesting to see what Leach has to say.

If they reviewed the punt return they may have caught the players with the same number. Not sure if it's challengeable but if it is there's no excuse for Leach there. There's also no excuse for not having something called for the conversion that looked better than that shit play.

The more I think about it, them going back and adding the penalty to the onside review is the worst...because they knew they got it wrong, but they wanted to make sure we knew they wanted us to lose. I've bitched about refs before, as have you all, but this shit was on another level....just insanity.
That being said, it also pisses me off we can't entirely blame the refs for tonight. Making a shitty night shittier, lol.
Cheers, y'all. Let the bourbon flow...

I didn't see it on the overhead replay unless I missed something. Looked like everyone was covered and slot receiver on the right side just stood there.

I just don't understand why that puss of a back judge didn't run in and tell the other officials that he waived the play dead.

That's why you need wrinkles in the offense. I said it after the 2 pt try failed. The Mullen play of sending everyone out wide, and having the QB draw up the middle with the OL 1-on-1 would've scored there.
Instead, Will waited for guys to get open in tight coverage (which is expected), and broke on the run too late.

Yes-Should have kicked FG, yes, I believe they went 90 yds and scored after getting ball.
Yes- Leach should have pressed the issue on the punt return and the make up penalty on on side kick, not sure of rules either way there but the ball looked down and ref was waving arms, the blue beanbag I thought meant lose ball and not DEAD could be wrong, but again don’t know rules there, the guy waving his arms never blew his whistle, just something to chew on.
Yes- Rogers hesitated at the end BUT he is not the reason we lost.
Yes- We should have never had such a close game or let them hang around, it seems like we generally take the 3rd quarter off on offense, place blame wherever there
NO- Rogers does not suck, he is clearly the best option we have. Does he hesitate at time yes, does he check down too quick at time, yes. BUT HE DOES NOT SUCK, he is young and performing very dang good for a 19 yr old kid
NO- despite all of Shotguns rants, SAWYER is not better or ready at this time, next year who knows, but today, NO.
Get over it, the refs screwed us but this game is entirely on us, we went soft in 3rd quarter again, if our offense consistently plays like they do in the final 4 minutes of game we would be blowing everyone out.

Agree with everything posted here. Unfortunately we have a head coach that let this all happen and doesn?t care. It?s really disappointing. We now have two coaches leach and Howland here to do the bare minimum to keep jobs before retiring.

How has Howland in any way done the bare minimum? He took over one of the worst men's basketball programs in the country and made it respectable.

Sad part on the final 2 point play is that if Will had looked to his left, the RB in the flat was running totally wide open. But Will never looked that direction.

I agree with you and 11 should have caught the fade.
