USC. Easier competition, better pedigree, and believe it or not, Southern California is better than anything in the Southeast overall.
Sure you have to deal with taxes.
Sure you have to deal with regulations.
But overall, being a millionaire in Southern California is probably pretty damn nice. The weather is definitely better.

Most of these coaches want to win a championship, and for that, LSU is still a better job. For a normal person (which probably means "not suited to be a great college football coach"), USC should be a better job.

Nothing like having to walk through piles of Sh** or past skid row when you want to take the family for a nice downtown stroll or better yet sitting in traffic for 17 hours to get 12 miles down the road for a nice dinner out.***
Guess it depends on what you enjoy, give me an outdoor setting with actual trees, pastures, ag fields, lakes, rivers and small town people any day over a city built on a desert filled with 100K plus homeless people living in tent towns in a city that allows people to steal from stores as long as the dollar amount is under a certain number.

There are no piles of Sh** in the immediate area of USC. The article shows the gentrification of that area. Simply, affiliates take a freeway to campus and away from campus. Those on campus will have first class accommodations. The last thing students want is an outdoor setting, ag fields, trees, pastures etc? The less fortunate in LA are not in the immediate USC area. The beach is what is happening not downtown.
