    Forbes & Emerson

These dudes are so damn good, especially with a defense that doesn't pressure the QB great. Forbes is probably the most talented corner we've ever had. He just makes plays in a dominant fashion for a corner. I'm very biased but I think he's better than Stingley. Martin doesn't get targeted as much but he's probably top 5 all time for us.

Open field tackling was superb last night. I believe Forbes had 8-9 solos

Forbes is good but not the best we've had just yet.

That's why I suggested most talented with his career so young. His coverage skills are great, but I've never seen a corner here tackle that well and consistently.

Had 9 with 11 total tackles. And some of those were the fact we were keeping things in front and not on legit man coverage.

The sack was also superb by him. And a great call by Arnett on that. Emerson and Forbes are as good a CB group as we've ever had.

Yep, probably better than Bean and Smoot although Smoot might be the best corner I have ever seen in coverage.

I never felt so confident watching Smoot right before the open field tackle. Dude would wrap up.

They are right there with Smoot/Bean and Slay/Banks. We have had some nasty shutdown CBs over the years. Walt Harris was pretty good among others.

He lowers his head and no way he sees what he is tackling.
