The more Leach & Co. reach into South GA for big uglies, the more I like it. We grow a lot of them south of Macon. Y'all may not have seen this, but we have co-hosted a camp at Valdosta State each of the past 2 summers.
People may not like the star rankings, but Leach knows where to dig for the type athletes he wants.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

didn't know this ... I wonder if that proximity also taps into Florida kids as well ... seems like it would have to
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

North Florida for sure - Valdosta is only 20 miles from the border.

Highly doubt Leach is the one digging up these athletes considering he is pretty open about disliking recruiting

The ultimate responsibility rests on Leach. If he delegates and gets it done, fine.

Yeah he only used to coach at Valdosta and he was only recruiting Will Rogers to Washington state pryor to moving here. He hates finding big lineman since he believes in the trenches and he has no interest in the big Texas arms he's been going after since building those connections during his Tech days. Don't believe everything you hear....

I detest public speaking and doing presentations to boards/commissions, and I tell people that regularly. But, it's a significant part of my job, and I do it and do it well. Doesn't make me hate it any less.

He may not like it but that doesn't mean he's disconnected from it ... several weeks ago I heard a recruit say that ML was on the phone to him several times while he was being recruited by one of the position coaches for us ... can't remember his name but he did commit to us. The man didn't get to $5 mil a year by not being involved
