I wish we ran routes like that, we'd look great too.

Might be a big deal if OM defense is still trask

Well. UL is dropping 7 in a zone and leaving lots of holes for WR and RB. If you can convince our opponents to leave 10-15 yards of space in the zone we could complete those passes too.

Plus. corral may have a clean jersey the entire game with this UL defense. Apparently UL coach never watched a minute of film on UM.

Until we can demonstrate that we can complete a pass every now and again 25+ yards down the field folks are going to jam those 7 or 8 defenders all within that space 15 yards from the LOS. I don't know if Will can even throw a pass that far but nobody is respecting that we can complete or will even try a downfield pass. That is one major difference so far I am seeing with our offense and what was going on at TT and WSU. They didn't thrown down the field a lot but had QBs and WRs that could execute to get the ball downfield if you were cheating too much on the short stuff. Right now we aren't even trying to attempt a ball down the field just to show a team we are willing to do it to keep them honest. I mean it makes it pretty easy when you have 7 or 8 defenders in zone pass coverage and all you have to defend is the area 15 to 20 yards past the LOS.

Will's throw to Calvin in the 4th quarter was on-the-money and travelled 33 yards through the air.
His last TD throw went right at 25 yards and was again right on the money.

He's got that much arm at least.

Well hell, a 6 yr old could make those throws when there isn’t a DB within 10 yards of the WR… Some of y’all are scared to death of Ole Miss no matter what sport it is…

Not at all. I'm just wondering how a football team can be fixed after going into a coma for two whole quarters then suddenly reappearing, after it's too late.

We knew their offense was going to be good. If their defense looks good they could be top 10.

It?s interesting watching Ole Miss run Leach?s offense better than State does. That?s what happens when you commit to recruit.
