I guess it's fine if it were a non-Covid year since Jr's would be Sr's; Sophomores would Jr's and Sr's for the most part would be gone, a couple of those are transfers. Of those 42 freshman about half would be Soph.
It just looks weird when I looked at it. It also doesn't show all the transfers. Abraham, Charlton, Calvin, Polk or Green are not represented. All those guys have at least a couple years elsewhere.

this should be pinned to the top until this season is over
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Curious where we rank nationally here

Yet we are 3rd in the league in returning production

Probably because we played the most freshmen in the country and those guys are once again freshmen due to Covid year.

I don’t think anyone realizes how good we are going to be 2 years from now. It’s a perfect storm. The better players that are you g are getting playing time so they will not be transferring. Just getting more and more experience. We will be decent this year. Better next year. But the year after we could be a playoff team.

How accurate is this and why does it say 2022? It has Charles Cross listed as a freshman.

I am wondering that myself. Did he redshirt in 2019? If he did, then he is still a RS FR.

If a player gets ready for the NFL in three years, he is gone no matter how many years of eligibility he has left.
You won't keep your superstars like Charles Cross anyway. He may be gone after this year but most definitely after next. This is his third year and he will be eligible for the draft will he not? I really don't know, I am asking.

Yes / it makes next year the kind of year where we should peak

Did he just play in 4 games? I thought he played the entire year which would make him a sophomore.

It says he played in 3 games. So, he is still a Covid RS FR

You can call them freshman when in reality they are sophomore level

"We're young".
What bothers me is it looks like we won't be able to sign very many in 2022. I know 'the numbers always work out', but not only we will have a lot of players in the portal after this season, we NEED to have a lot of players in the portal after this season.
