So Is Gene's Page going to Pony up and Pay some athletes?
Just saw a&m's big site (texags) is paying 2 football players $10k for exclusive interviews.
Texas's rival site (orangebloods) is paying (unknown amounts) to 2 players - Jordan Whittington (football) and Ivan Melendez (baseball)

Gene said the other day that this is something he was looking into, but I doubt he’s going to give any of them 10K for an interview. Said he was still trying to work things out, whatever that means.

I may have been a little overly critical with my comment about the subscription and the book. It could be something really good like a free trip to Gene's barber or maybe a RB tattoo set.
