Anyone else wondering about Jake to TAMU?
Kendall says TAMU is waiting on assistant hires til some post seasons are done. Any worry from anyone else that Schloss will come after Gautreau? Aren't they tight from Tulane? Would get Jake to Texas. Or do we think he is so close to a head coaching job sticking it out here would be worth it.

That would be a step down

Not happening. Jake isn't leaving this year.

Arizona pitching coach Nate Yeskie has already agreed with A&M

I think so too but good compensation and good friendship can sometimes make people make strange moves.

Glad to hear it's not a concern.

According to Kendall Rogers, States coaching staff is secure this year he feels like minus a total left field pull for Foxhall although it would be a shocker for him. He also said expect some big/exciting news regarding Coach G and State soon.

That would follow closely to what Kendall Rogers is saying. He recently tweeting a big A&M assistant won’t be announced for a little while… if you follow. Ha He is also making some big hints of Bianco and LSU right now on Twitter.

Jake isn't leaving for anything other than a P5 HC job in a good situation i.e. SEC, Big 12, or ACC. He's told numerous people that. He's happy in Starkville and his family loves it. On top of that he's one of the highest paid asst. in all of college baseball.

That's a good pull for them. Going to be hard facing them for the time being. He can coach and get some good catchers.

We better pay Lemo. I didn’t realize until recently how pitifully he’s paid

Yea I imagine he'll get a healthy raise at the end of the season that will put him in the range of 1 mil a year, which is what Butch makes at Auburn.

Lemonis/Cohen fixing to make him and Foxhall two of the highest paid assistant coaches in college baseball. Our baseball program is in good hands and has more stability than it has had in a long long time…
