This is a huge problem with the portal and the scholarship rules in general.

They've already got 85, which is absurdly too many, and are able to basically have unlimited scholarships by being able to drop dead weight.

The system is so incredibly flawed that it makes leaders look like absolute idiots that they choose to do nothing

That'd be cool, but players can be committed for years and rankings wouldn't be figured out completely until like a week before signing day. I like where your head is at though. This is one of those situations where it would actually work better for parity if they treated D1 football like the professional sport it is instead of treating it like kids just picking which college they want to get an education at.

Had skollies been at 20/70 at the time, this cat wouldn't have been signed... He actually prevented Bammer from potentially signing another 5 star for 3 years.
