    Johnson and Sims

Man the price for a ticket watching them was worth sitting thru the game. Yes we looked awful on defense, Mac is a mystery, he can be lights out with his control but it seems one little or big thing such as an error or maybe a walk just plays on his mind. The rest of the season is gonna get tougher each game regardless of who we play, but thank goodness we are playing Missouri this weekend.

Mule is just a bigger threat at the plate than Skinner, he needs to play everyday from here on out. Watching Tanner throwing to second base last night makes me think he may just a little leg weary but damn he is still good!

Bednar needs to give 6 good innings today, then Saturday I'm betting we will see 4 or 5 pitchers getting some work (surely Missouri will be out of pitchers)!

We got a chance to win the next two, that would be huge as we know!

P.S. James needs to come alive at the plate, also I'm hopping Leggett gets going a little more at the plate, he has the potential.

I'd like to see them give Logan Tanner a break at catcher with Hatcher catching. They need to let Kellum Clark play some 1B, as that will be his position next year likely. You don't want to completely change things up, but you have to give Tanner a break behind the plate and let him DH.

Kamryn is pulling off the slider. That was a big problem his cousin Austin Riley had as a young player. The slider off the plate.

Tanner cannot be pulled during these SEC games. His defense is too valuable.

I'm going to assume you mean Hancock. Agree that we need to get Kellum some more ABs, but we're going to have to keep him at DH for now. Logan is just a step above Hancock behind the plate, even as he's been struggling a bit lately throwing runners out.

We can give him a night off against MO if the coaches want. Hancock is more than capable enough to catch against them

Logan Tanner doesn't need a day off. He had the whole week off. He just made 1 bad throw.

Hancock would be the starting catcher for just about every other team in the SEC. Nothing wrong with him behind the plate.

When Hancock and Clark are both in the lineup like last night, why not play Clark at first and dh Hancock instead of vice versa. Is Hancock better at first than Clark?

His defense wasn't up to the normal yesterday. The dude needs to catch 1 game per weekend until we hit regionals, or his legs get back under him. He had two bad throws down to second and another that allowed a runner to score from third. Sure Forsythe didn't help him out on the throws, but he did miss it by 6 feet either side.

    Yes. Brain fart there.
