If everything holds up from last season three spots are taken with J Carter, R Jackson, and M Taylor. You would think A Hayes leads for another. J Jordan, along with A Jones, are two that I think push for the fifth starting slot with the other as a sixth man in the backcourt.

Jerkaila Jordan, Anastasia Hayes and Ashley Jones will play alot at 2 the gaurd spots and maybe some 3 if we go small. Then we have Godfrey, the other 2 Hayes sisters and Shavers who are also all really good. Nikki said she likes to play alot of players and likes to get out and run... well she has the ball handling, speed and scoring to do it now.

We still need to get another big or 2.. Right now we have Jessica Carter, Charlotte Kohl and Rickea (can play some stretch 4).. we need some more size

I can?t see M Taylor not starting and playing a lot at point. However, despite the offense technically being positionless someone is going to have to be the primary backup point. I wonder if M Moore gets those minutes or if one of the other Hayes sisters emerges in the role.

Why? She's not been that great. We need someone that's more physical and/or quicker there.

Her stats have been very consistent over the last two seasons and two coaching staffs. She was also one of our better defenders the last two seasons. Both A Matharu and J Mingo-Young were physically stronger and quicker and neither could beat her out.

I thought I added Myah Taylor but your correct, her leadership and defensive will probably allow her to start. She isn't the scorer that Anastasia, Jerkaila or Ashley Jones is though so her points will probably go down but her assist should go up. The only knock on Myah is consistency and she has alot of girls behind her who can all run the PG position so she has to stay consistent.

Also, don't forget about incoming freshman wing Denae Carter. She's 6 ft tall, long, and very athletic...definitely helps bring a combination of length/athleticism/skill out on the wing, additional frontcourt help. Will need to get her ready to play as a freshman. Wouldn't be surprised to see her helping at the 4 spot as well...4 guard type lineups. Wouldnt be surprised to see Jasmine Shavers, 5 ft 9, 10 range on the wing as well. Caterrion Thompson...5 ft 11 in the mix. Knisha Godfrey, 5 ft 9 is one of the bigger guards as well..in the mix. Big keys with the bigger, less experienced guards are...wilI Tulane transfer, Jerkaila Jordan (a projected starter), 5 ft 9, be primarily utilized at the 1, 2, or 3? Combination of positions? Also, the bigger guards being able to earn playing time regardless of how the staff utilizes Jerkaila and the smaller guards. Expecting bigger guards to be playing some at the 3 and 4 spots, smaller guards finding minutes in the frontcourt as well. Various combinations.
