Maybe if Rowdy hadn't been hit 4 times today he would have had an extra step in the tank.

Sometimes people mess up a batch and don’t know it. Results in a costly recall or other issue.
I wonder if someone messed up the SEC official baseballs. That would explain the unusual offense this week. Even Vandy got torched

I don't know how they do it now but a million years ago in highschool, someone besides the cutoff man was in charge of calling cuts and would have been yelling "Cut home! Cut home!" while the ball was inbound from Skinner. Maybe they did and he didn't follow through or maybe there was no communication and when he saw the runner, he wasn't in a good position to throw.
