    Pitching Rotation Going Forward

Bednar threw on Friday this week. If the goal is to win on Friday, He needs to stay on Friday going forward. CMac has been good twice in his last 4 starts and both times (LSU and KY) there was a 12-15 mph wind blowing in. He doesn't locate like Bednar and doesn't have dominant stuff. I'll be surprised if he wins a Friday game the next month. Needs to be either the Saturday or Sunday guy.

I like CMac and he has a place in the rotation.

How about instead of name calling and belittling others, you actually defend your posts and have a reasonable discussion?

You're the worst poster on this board. It's easy to be a tough guy behind a keyboard.

Where do we get Cerantola a few innings? Surely he can get some in our lineup somewhere during the week? He was a top 5 draft projection in preseason.

I would get him a few innings this midweek

Who do you think gives us a better chance to win Friday night, CMac or Bednar?

I've thought the same thing but I wonder how Mac would take it? Pitchers are sensitive to things to like that.

If he is that mentally weak then he won’t win many more if any Friday night starts..

So a poster saying our best pitcher outside of Sims should be our Friday night guy is a low IQ take?? Ok

You’re talking about a guy that defends Hatcher. He’s already shown where the low IQ is

It also could take a little pressure off him.

Also, we've got to use sims better. We can't have the best pitcher on our staff pitching 2 innings a week. I understand or overthrowing a guy early, but we have up figure it out. Ark threw their best pitcher every game this weekend. Fine line, I know.

The pure Napoleonic strategy is to win one Opponent at a time - we got to tunnel vision Auburn.

    (1) they hit 268 in the SEC - not great but 30 pegs more than us
    (2) 3 of 4 top hitters are RightHanded
    (3) 3 best are all RH hitters (50% of the hits, 40% of the RBIs)
    (4) the best left bat is Tyler Miller, hitting 267
    (5) after the big 3 hitters, the rest of auburn is hitting 203. Probably explains why 30 points better hitting only gives Auburn 4 more runs than MSU

Seems that we need to prepare Sims for a big weekend. Start him in Game-1. 4 innings. Nuts

Also Brandon Smith is scaring me lately. He’s a good fit for the weekend, but Auburn has Power. B Smith has been getting hit hard lately

Stinnett, Koestler, Johnson, and Simmons could be really very useful

MacLeod is less a fit for the weekend but hes been better vs Right than Left in 2021. I dont have the raw numbers. I welcome them however

I would love for Cerantola to start midweek games. Give him a fk ton of innings whether we're winning or not. If he figures his sht out here, then he can be a huge asset for us, if he doesn't, then we may lose a game or two that doesn't affect out RPI too much.

I wishing the best for Cerantola but in saying that I think he is about done for now. He may get to throw some soon but I wouldn't count on him being successful moving forward for Msu. It's not like he is in his forst year or so. We have others who have proven they can be counted on and need the innings.
