More reasons to avoid professional sports altogether.

The lawyer stated yesterday he's not turning over any evidence to the police. Sounds like a money scheme to me.

He is specifically talking the Houston PD, tho. He said that is because he has a prior negative relationship with the current mayor and chief of police, and doesn't want that to influence how the investigation is done. He goes on to say he will turn over evidence to "other" law enforcement, so I assume that means the FBI?

But if there is a rampant structure of allowable abuse at the major programs - it will be a lawyer like Buzzbee that will make it an epic lawsuit. If these schools have money for 20M dollar coach buyouts, they have money to attract mega lawsuits.
Payton Manning had a sex abuse charge at Tennessee that is quite similar to Watson - hegemonic abuse over female care givers.

That still makes zero sense.

People forget about Peyton's situation.

We should all remember to let due process play out in any and all legal matters no matter our personal opinions. While "justice" has become a joke in so many ways in this country, the principle should be a goal of everyone.

Didn?t Manning just moon someone?

Supposedly they have text messages that corroborate some of the accusations.
And there have been some press reports of Watson contacting some of the accusers after the lawsuits were filed, to settle out of court.
Guess time will tell. Could be true, but if some of this is true why wait all this time and bring it all out at once? Maybe there is a strategy. Who knows.

Basically, everything in the movie "Waiting" is a serious sexual assault today. Some lawyers can probably just live from 1990's "humor".

All at once theoretically better case scenario for the victims. Solidarity, pressure, etc. Class action style.

I get that part of it. Just seems that if some were as bad as reported, they would have come out earlier.

He pulled his pants down and waved it in her face. Peyton wasn't the only one that messed with her but he was the straw that broke the camels back and the one that could bring UT to its knees due to them not following up on previous claims by the trainer.

"Negative relationship???? " dude he ran against Sylvester Turner for mayor and really brought up some nasty stuff....like the mayor's young male lover on his payroll as a 95k intern during a hiring freeze. ...Busbee is just trying to get publicity....these girls knew what was up and willingly took the money for services rendered and several of them came back multiple times....

Maybe maybe not. If so they can all be prosecuted for prostitution, Watson included. Just get the facts and get it right.

Yo homey ...obviously you haven't been following what is going our major cities... these so called "victimless" crimes like prostitution are not being prosecuted. Houston is no different ...Kim Ogg has drastically curtailed prosecution of many crimes. So homey I got all the facts you want. Watson won't be charged with solicitation and he won't be convicted of anything.
