Sure we can. They can beat us too. Should be a good game

Would really like to have Tulu for this game. Regardless, I guess the 2021 team will go down as the only MSU MBB team to ever reach the championship game of a post-season national tournament.

Going to be tough to beat them but we can. But I really like our defense... Say what you want about Ado but he changes the game defensively. Stewart and Cam do a really good job on the perimeter also

We were much better today without Tolu. Having said that, I think Memphis by double digits tomorrow. Good run though.

We have as good a chance as any to win tomorrow. Memphis looked good but they haven't looked that good all year. Maybe we haven't either. Should be a good game.
Tulo out makes us one less in the post but Mathews has stepped up and so has Ado. Ado has been playing at all NIT level. We play like we did today, we might cut down the nets tomorrow.

Ride Molinar and Stewart as far as they can take us. Having the paint unclogged with only 1 big only helps them. They will decide the game
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Memphis isn't good or they'd be in the NCAA. Damn people, they aren't some incredible team.

Memphis 19-8 on the year. They lost by 2 to Houston in the AAC tournament. They lost by 3 to Houston in the 2nd to last regular season game. For those that don't know, Houston is a 2 seed in the NCAAT. Take away those 2 games and they've won 10 in a row. They have tons of talent.

Our baseball team came in second in 2013 and our women's BB team came in second a few years ago. just seems like we can't get to the top.

Memphis is a good team. We also had Bama down to one possession game twice in final minute twice so our season's seem similar in some ways.
To others comments on bigs, the two bigs also seem to stagnate our O. Having a Fountain or Matthews or another faster moving body moving on outside seems to help. That and Matthews plays D on inside or out and crashes the boards hard. I think we found a little something by accident. Not that Ado or Smith isn't good just the mixture on the floor.

Memphis plays 40 minutes of hell, full court press defense. Heard Howland after the game say Deivon Smith would be a critical player for us today and I agree. Because we sometimes get bogged down in the halfcourt, I don't think us seeing 40 minutes of full court press is the worst thing. The best case I can make for us winning is that we can match up athletically with Memphis. Only a handful of times this year has that been the case for the Tigers so we might make them a little uncomfortable at first. Colorado State is extremely well coached and plays hard but they got blitzed by Memphis' elite athletes. Won't be the case today. DJ Stewart can raise up and shoot over anyone and not many guys are quicker than Deivon Smith or Molinar. My biggest concern is turnovers. We have some of the most head scratching turnovers regardless of pace or the quality of athletes we go up against....so I guess even if they turn us over a bunch then it would not be that atypical for us!

Ado might as well not have fingers. He has the worst hands of any player I've ever seen.

They're looking pretty good right now. They're also palming the ball everytime they bring it down court.

Dam are we that tired. Out of Sync and being out everything

The fact that Penny did not get this Memphis team into the NCAA tournament is amazing.
