I know. That's my point. Could have brought him in up 4-2 with 2 men on and their best hitter up. Or we could have walked their best hitter and brought him in. Gotta use Sims in high leverage situations. If Fristoe gives up 3 or 4, we've basically wasted him. We would be better off using him as an opener for 2 innings and then bringing in Fristoe.

Shit y?all! We are talented but so are several other teams. It amazes me that so many think we are entitled or guaranteed anything in a sport that goes against any of that. Just because we invest and recruit talent doesn?t mean other teams don?t also. We are what we are

Arkansas has always had a good baseball program. Van Horn has raised the bar. However the fact of the matter is. Every sec school now tries at baseball. The same disadvantages State has recruiting to other sports, exist with baseball as well. Sure we have a nice stadium. So does most other schools.

It's baseball - once you make it there it can be a crapshoot. The goal every year is to host a regional.
