I'm getting to the point where I almost had rather we beat Mainieri and LSU than OM, if I have to chose between the two.

Ha, you guys. He gave an honest assessment of the game. Said they played well outside of hitting. Gave our pitchers a lot of credit for their issues at the plate. He thought Hill pitched well but we did enough to score where they didn?t.

He did specifically mention he thought Skinner would be bunting.

I think it was regular coach speak but a fair assessment of the game. Emphasized how good MacLeod was and how good the Staff is.

    Paraphrase:

We only got 4 hits, when they give you something, you must convert runs because you won’t get many chances.

Looking over his left shoulder, thats the reason you want to be rivals with these guys, they are a legit program

    Not wannabes

Yea it was a fair assessment mostly. Except for he framed them as not quite doing enough offensively while we did "just enough" to win. I think we outhit them 11-3, gifted them their run on a pop fly drop, and lost a runner at the plate. We dominated the game as a whole if you look at the full 9 innings. Should have been 7-0. But 6-1 is still a convincing win.
