Man I hate an impatient team. 2-0 count and you swing. Then a 3-1 count and you make weak contact after a off balance swing. If there was a guy in scoring position great. As leadoff? Just take a pitch. Maybe he misses big the next pitch and you get a free walk.
You have 3 strikes, use them
-
I had to say that for the early contact to start working. You’re welcome

Both teams have 1 hard hit ball, and both have been DPs

Well at least had some good swings that inning. Maybe about to get to this guy
-
Exactly why I was thinking put the runners in motion there double steal

He's not overpowering us by any means. Just need to keep making him work out there and maybe he'll slip up the more we see him.

They've gotten some outside calls toward the RH box and at least one up and in to the LH box that hasn't been reciprocated

Cmac does good with that elevated fastball when he wants to throw it there.

McLeod at 47 pitches through 3 innings.
-
Cmac's pitch count is totally irrelevant. Surprised some of you were complaining about that. 4-5 innings is all we need. Definitely don't want Mac going thru the LSU order more than twice.

Hopefully he can give us two more.

Thats not horrible considering he essentially added 9 pitches by himself. 15 pitchers per inning is reasonable
-
I'd be tempted to steal here. Can't ground into 2 again.

Agreed

I really enjoy Ben McDonald. He does a good job.

I hate all these ground balls
