3 bowl trips in four years? Doesn't seem like worthy of running him out after only one game.

We need even more of this. We need atleast 4 more recruiting specialists and 3 more analysts.

You don't know the whole story. He got in some trouble. Only had a couple kids committed in the fall. Lots of stuff. Being an analyst is a good thing. He's not a recruiter.

So the word that he's specifically Brad Peterson's replacement was inaccurate?

That's right. Peterson's spot isn't being filled right now. I'm ok with Hopson at an analyst spot.

Yeah that was interesting to me because at first it was being rumored that he was replacing Peterson on the staff and I think we all assumed that his role would be a recruiting one. That was a WTF? to me. Now, I'm all for Hopson as a defensive analyst. I think that's a good move.

But at the same time why on Earth are we of all teams in the SEC cutting a recruiting position? If anything we should be expanding.

Because we have John Cohen Templeton as AD. He's not good.

JH won’t hurt us at all in recruiting.. he may not move the needle heavy upward but this notation that everyone hates him or he can’t recruit is silly. This is a really good pick up for us.

Anytime you get an ex head coach , a successful head coach on your staff that happens to have ties to the state it’s a very good thing..

Now we need to hire more help in the recruiting room. Get more guys like Gibson and Mason on the staff...

He's not involved in recruiting. And yes, his recruiting ability would be a liability. Thankfully, we don't have to worry about it. DA is a great title for him.

He will be involved in recruiting more than most think... just because his “title” says Defensive Analysts. JH is a very good hiring for us , very pro active .

I told everyone he wouldn’t be taking BP spot, that is a very important hire for us.. and not just for a recruiting stand point BP did a lot more than his Job title said.
I’m not worried about losing Villagrana, but we need more guys like Gibson and Mason.. guys with connections , guys that hustle , guys that can relate to young players, guys that know the 7on 7 scenes..

Again we need to add more recruiting jobs.more hands on deck is a must. I don’t understand how our Football athletic Department and AD cant understand that

Yeah. I figured that was the case when I saw David Murray's official excuse from the AD about how we can't hire more people because we don't have space for them at the Seal building. And then the kicker excuse- we don't need to hire people just to hire them.

It's pretty puzzling to me because Cohen as a baseball coach wanted as much as possible as far as resources. Why that isn't translating to the other sports I don't know.

Part of the problem is CML has more here than hes ever had and it's not close. He isn't asking for, nor does he think we need more people, at this juncture anyway
