I knew the call when I heard Tony Walsh was making it. Dude screws us any chance. He was 'helped' off the base by the SS on that play.

Tanner clearly telling the ump he's pulling me off the bag.

Tag was on him when he was off base. Runner was hardly in a stable position. Sucks, but right call

Fkn huge strike zone you got there, ump.

Yep

I don't know what Hatcher was arguing about. How about defend the zone?
-
While I agree he got pulled off, you have to stabilize yourself better than that if you are Logan Tanner.

Right, he has his momentum going forward so it doesn't take much of a tug to pull him off. Should have stayed with the call on the field if there was any question and there was.

Big PA here. Need solid contact
-
If we lose that will likely be the inning that did it. Should have had 2nd and 3rd with nobody out and end up with nothing.
-
That was an absolute horrid AB
-
Third and second with nobody out (essentially) and get nothing.
-
Well I guess we have to wait till the 9th

The next 2 batters struck out. You have confidence we get a 2-out hit?

He's a max effort type guy. Elite in his current role or short relief. I think he's more valuable for this club in that role. Sure he could go give you 5 innings as a starter. But I like how we are using him now. We just need to ge McLeod back, bednar healthy and our starters are fine. EC is going to get one more shot but the leash is too long w him IMO.

Get the out. We still have a shot
-
Wow, that looked like me throwing the ball from rf. Weak

This is correct. It's like we have another starter and so gives us a short leash when one of our starters doesn't have their stuff in more important games.
