Cert gets out of the 1st 3 up 3 down. At least we don't have to rely on FTs in this game, just stupid throwing errors.

Way too many big misses. Even half of his strikes miss the target by a foot and a half.
If a pitcher can?t take a little off and groove a fastball when he HAS to, he definitely shouldn?t be a weekend starter.

Cerantola, I think, will be really good. He is getting better. But... He has to be able to throw his change and curve for strikes. His fastball is really fast, but it is also very straight. If they know its coming they can battle it off. He really was close this inning, that infield single was bad luck.

Cerantola will never be able to be depended on in any game that means anything. 2 walks and a hit batter basically cost us 2 runs there. He did the same thing in the 2nd inning last week where he loaded the bases with 2 walks and hit batsman and then gave up a 2 out 2 run single. Just gifting people runs.

Our starters suck and out hitting is piss poor. We'll stay ranked until SEC ball. Then it's going to be a struggle.

Starting pitching is shaky and our offense is pretty anemic. 10 innings against Kent State so far and we have 6 hits (5 singles).
