James hasn't been good at SS this year, but he does have a cannon over there.

I think this is the plan.

As bad as our starting pitching is, I really believe we have the best bullpen in the country.

Yep. His error cost us the TCU game. That was a hell of a throw, though.

Yeah, it looks pretty dark. They probably need to open the camera iris up some.

I don't think it's enough to overcome our shitty offense. I think we may be lucky to finish .500 in the league.....

Men on 1st and 2nd, no outs in the bottom of the 4th.
My mind is quickly computing the different ways we can screw this up lol.
C'mon Hancock.

Our "ace" isn't an ace. Cerantola can't throw strikes. Bednar is still injured.
The only thing saving us is the amount of quality arms we have behind them.
None of these boys ever started an SEC game, they were always just prospects
We got other guys that are solid
Brandon Smith looks ready to go

You're right, but any time a team's 3 weekend starters don't pan out for whatever reasons, it's not good. 99% of teams wouldn't survive. We can but it'll be interesting.

I don't share your pessimism, but I definitely understand it.
I think we lose a lot of Friday night games, but our bullpen is deep enough to get us through a bunch of Saturday/Sunday games.

Who produces the video feed, ESPN or MSU?
Time to make a stink about this so Homedawg gets this fixed

B4| MSU 1, Kent St. 3
Bases loaded, 1 out for Landon Jordan who is hitting .280 so far this year, but only .200 w/RISP. Let's change that.

If college baseball had real press coverage, they would have said MSU starters are tentative until the Eastern Michigan series
We would feel less bad, but they “promised” us two maybe three All Americans

I think James should have been turned loose on 3 _ 0 and I also think he struck out.

B4| 2 outs, MSU 1, Kent St. 3
Landon Ks on three pitches.
Up to McGowan now.
EDIT: Cumbest to PH for Drew. So he's healthy at least. Bases loaded, 2 outs.

We've got enough arms that we could limit every pitcher to one time thru the order. Bednar is coming back at some point. Still have Stinnett and Cade Smith that haven't pitched yet. The plan and execution vs USM on Wednesday was perfect. I think the move is to go with something like that on weekends.

I don't love the decision to pinch hit Cumbest here. I really hope I'm proven wrong, though.

Home basketball games are the same way.

END 4| MSU 1, Kent St. 3
Bulldogs load em up and leave em there. Back to back Ks with the bases loaded.
