Free and fair elections no longer exist, so "our side" as you called it have about as much chance of winning in 2022 as a fart in a whirlwind. I hope you like what "your side" is in the process of doing to this once great country.
To be fair the oligarch class has conspired against the average American since their coup doing away with the Articles of Confederation. If it makes you feel better they've had total control since longer than anyone on the board has been alive.
