    Btw, OM and TCU in game 2. OM's Ace, Doug Nikhazy, couldn't even make it 2 innings. He's yanked with TCU threatening, bases loaded and 2 outs. OM leads 4-3 currently.

    Really nice opening day win for MSU. Sims getting out of that jam was the key. Offense looked good today too. Really can't ask for a much better start.

    I think he threw with considerably more velocity as a freshman as well. I think he was overused that year and never recovered from it.
