Which staff member are we losing ?

Peterson for sure. I think it's not effective until the end of this month though.

So who other than Rod Gibson has ties to Mississippi on the staff? Just Hughes? Bad timing with the 22 in state class.

Besides Nix , how many “Mississippi” coaching ties coaches does OM have? Rumor Tbuck won’t be there next year
This gets blown out of proportion a too much.. yes it’s always good to have a few but it’s not that big a deal

If true Peterson is a huge loss.. lot goes on behind the scenes ( not just recruiting ) that he did an excellent job at.
Will be an important role to fill...

I know you prob mean off the field staff, but Hughes has more MS ties than anybody. He loses a lot of his value when he can't get in a living room though like the past 12 months.

I know I'll get trashed for this but I would hire Mark Hudspeth as our recruiting coordinator. And yeah I know it will never happen.
But not I'll say this- not making moves like that are why we never go beyond top 20-25 in recruiting and don't look serious in football recruiting.

There was a time I would have. I think that bridge is burnt. Don't get excited about this hire. Not going to be anything special.
