2021 Schedule is Out
September 4 Louisiana Tech.
September 11 N.C. State.
September 18 @ Memphis.
September 25 LSU
October 2 @Texas A&M
October 9 open
October 16 Alabama
October 23 @Vanderbilt
October 30 Kentucky
November 6 @Arkansas
November 13 @Auburn
November 20 Tennessee State
November 27 Egg Bowl. Saturday
First thoughts: I see anywhere between 4-8 and 7-5 with an outside shot at 8-4 if the chips fall right
-
NC State might be tough but it is at home at least.
Not sure about Memphis
Vandy should be a win
UK is at home so maybe a win
Ark and Auburn will be tough on the road.
Egg Bowl at home so maybe a win
I agree that anywhere between 4-7 wins with possible at 8. 8 would be a damn good coaching job and 9 would be outstanding.

I foresee 6-6 with an outside chance at 7-5. Key games are NC State, at Auburn and Ole Miss. Winning 2 of 3 of these likely gets us to 7-5. I expect a slip against Memphis or Kentucky. I expect all the turbulence at Auburn to create a significant decline for them next year. Bama and ATM to battle for the division.

6-6 at best. 4-8 probable.
-
WE could start 5-0 or 0-5
-
I'll say 7-5 right now.
Our defense will be fine. LB depth is my biggest worry now.
Offensively, it all comes down to if we take the steps forward in year 2 that all Leach teams have done. If we're still struggling to run on 3 man boxes and can't push the ball down the field, then we won't go bowling. The offense has to improve.

Same here. We go to College Station 4-0
Lose the next two.
Beat Vandy and Tennissee State
And go 2-2 between Ky, Auburn, Old Miss, and Arkansas.

I know we were trending upwards towards the end of last year but I'm not sure that translates to more than 6 wins ... Never heard of Tennessee State before
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

There are 10 winnable games on this schedule. A&M and Bama are the only two teams that I view as probable losses.
I think 8 is a realistic number to predict.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Tennessee State is a HBCU. I think they are in the SWAC

Random thoughts:
I like the Egg Bowl on Saturday instead of Thanksgiving. It will give more of our fans an opportunity to go to the game.
Alabama after a bye week? We've seen how that plays out before. I do like playing Vanderbilt after them.
At Auburn and and Arkansas late in the year. Hopefully our team will hit it's stride by then.
Play LSU early again. That won't be easy and they'll want payback.
The whole lynchpin in the season is NC State. If we win we could have a good season. If we lose we probably struggle. Hopefully our team takes it a lot more seriously than the K-State game a couple of years ago.
I'd rather play Tennessee State in game one so we can see more people early. No biggie though and I'm sure Ole Miss has a cupcake before the Egg Bowl too. Will be the same day as the JSU/Alcorn game so that should be a big day for HBCU's in Mississippi. Oprah went to Tennessee State for those who like useless info.
I think we beat Memphis on the road and Kentucky at home even though those will be intense games. Memphis loses a lot. We should blow out La Tech. They looked awful in the NOLA Bowl.

We went 3-7 this year with no OOC games with a young team figuring out a brand new scheme. Our floor next year should be 6 wins. Really no exceptions.

You can say that all you want- but Tech, Mempho, and NC State will be competitive games for us.
We made a really good hire at DC
This staff recruits hard
Our HC #RTGDF the last 2 games
Should we win 6-7 games this Fall? Yes. Could we be 5-7? Absolutely. Interesting Fall ahead
