RIP Hammer. To those of us who grew up in Braves Country - you are the heart and soul.
I was lucky in '85 or '86 to get to go to an Old Timers game at the old Launching Pad. It was an exhibition game prior to a regular Braves game. It was old Braves against a group of other big leaguers. Supposedly, it was the last time Aaron ever played in an organized game. Hank hit 2 homers that day. From a fan and player reaction, you would have thought he hit number 715. It's possibly the coolest sports moment I've ever witnessed in person.

17 Barry Bonds. He should not be allowed to have the record over him.

2021 off to a bad start ... I was fortunate to have been watching that at bat when he broke it ... I was young but will never forget it. RIP Hank and thanks for the memories
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

It never crossed my mind that Hank Aaron could die. He was just one of those immortal heroes I looked up to as a kid.
RIP Hammerin Hank

I was 10 years old when I watched Hank break the record on Monday Night baseball, what a thrill for a baseball loving kid! We were living in Phoenix in 1975 and I got to go see Hank play in spring training that year when he was with the Brewers. Got Hanks and Reggie Jackson autograph that day, Brewers vs the Swingin' A's. Great memories, wish I could go back in time!

Hank took the vaccine. It made him sick and he died. No vaccine, he?s still with us today. It?s a chance he took to lead by example and paid for it with his life. Sad...

I have friends who actually knew Hank. He has been in bad shape for the last 2 years and had been in really bad shape for the last year.
