    Tommy Lasorda RIP

    love him or hate him - you have to admit he was a good one. Passed at 93 years old
    OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
    The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

    I grew up a Dodger fan being from just north of spring training site Vero Beach

    so in the 60's-80's I was a huge Dodger Fan.

    My favorite quote of Tommy's was

    'Cut me and I bleed Dodger Blue"

    A very good man.

    Never was a Dodger fan but still liked Tommy Lasorda. He was a great ambassador for the game. RIP, prayers to his family.

    Never was a Dodger fan but loved Tommy's personality and he was all baseball and a great ambassdor for the game! One of the great stories I heard him tell was that he got cut from the Dodgers because they had just signed Sandy Koufax to a "bonus baby" contract and had to make a roster spot for him. Tommy said it took the greatest left handed pitcher in the game to end my major league career. RIP Tommy!
