What would have been our record with NON-Covids schedule?
-
I won't change any sec results, and I think we would've lost at nc state, so 5-7.
-
5-7 or 6-6 probably.
Uga and vandy were the 2 sec teams added, so take those off and we are 2-6 in the league.
3-0 vs G5 (Tulsa beat Tulane and that was our toughest G5).
So 5-6 and would depend on nc state.
I know the order of games would have been different, but That's as close as I can say based on results.

6-6 I’m saying with the work we could have gotten against the OOC teams we would have had a better showing against Arkansas or Kentucky.

We would have improved immensely playing those 3 g5 games. We caught nc state early and they lost to wake forest around that time in their schedule so that is a tossup.
We play Arkansas and Kentucky a lot better offensively with a chance for especially our wide receivers to get more experienced in a less demanding game scenario than an all-sec schedule. And we play Ole Miss much better with a full roster.
I think we probably lose to lsu. They also would have really benefitted from g5 games and they lost more opt-outs than almost anyone.
I say 6-6 with wins against Arkansas, NC State, 3 g5, and Mizzou.

6-6 regular season and the bowl win.

Doubtful we beat LSU. As bad as Pelini was, no way he plays man 2 man the whole game. And Kylin was key in that game.
