    Weather update

Things have been on the quiet side most of the day, but there are two storms I'm watching right now. One is about to cross I-20 bear Lake and the other is near Heidelberg. The Lake storm looks more impressive currently. Neither are currently warned, but they are both trying to show signs of at least broad rotation. Back to your regular scheduled celebration of beating Tulsa's ass...twice.

It was hot and sunny here today. Made me extremely nervous. Luckily, so far we've just had some hard rain storms.

Since my original post both storms have now taken a royal dump on themselves. Possible they reorganize, but it just looks like none of the storms want to get serious tonight.

We'll see. SPC just issued a mesoscale discussion for areas south of 20. They're giving that area a 40% chance of a tornado watch being issued.

It'll be in my area in about 90 minutes. If it holds together I'll brave the drunks and roadblocks to take a look at it.

Warning has been allowed to expire but storms are still packing a punch. Line also has several kinks in it which could allow for a brief spin up danger noodle.

Radar measuring winds above 80mph just a couple thousand feet above the ground near Sallis.
