I think it took Dan 3 or 4 years to do that

Yep. As frustrating as this year was, we essentially had a 7-5 season while totally flipping the script on our offense.

I'm always that guy, aren't I? Haha... vandy wasn't on the original schedule, so we only won 2 sec games on original schedule. Had we won at nc state, that wouldve been 6 regular season wins

Three Top 25 wins actually. LSU, Mizzou, and Tulsa were all in the Top 25 at the time we beat them.

There's no real way to know. For example, we originally were supposed to play Kentucky in Week 10, but instead played them in Week 3 when we were at our most dysfunctional. Does anybody really think they beat us by 22 if we played again at the end of the season? Absolutely not.

We would've most likely been in the 5 to 7 win range though.

3-3 vs ranked teams at time of game
    1-4 vs unranked teams

We were a little bad luck away from being 5-5 (6th in the SEC) and getting some votes (though probably not ranked) in the final poll. Hopefully we can get the luck back in a year where we can really make noise.

Actually we beat 3. LSU was like #6 when we beat them. But Croom beat ranked teams too and then we lose to teams we shouldn't. Which is better?

I was counting LSU and Tulsa. I didn't recall mizzou being ranked but could be wrong

You're right. Mizzou was #25 the week before us, and they got blasted by Georgia, 49-14.

We were 2-3 vs ranked teams when we played them, and 2-4 vs unranked teams when we played them.

I thought I remembered mizzou having a number by their name when we played them.
