I've seen it look much worse. Remember when we played (I think Arkansas) in about 2000? We'd have gone to Atlanta instead of Shreveport if we'd won. The field was a quagmire.

Yeah. It was the definition of targeting. Whether it should be a penalty or not is up for debate, but it was targeting. Probably should be like the NFL, or maybe an unsportsmalike penalty and booted on the second offense.
