The more I watch Gilmore the better he gets. The kid is dang good at football.
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

We've added speed on both sides of the ball too and that's huge!
Decarlos is the fastest kid I've ever coached and I've had some fast kids. Decarlos stole home one time and he slid past the plate before the pitch even got there. Now it was a left handed pitcher and in windup but still, blazing fast kid. His speed is legit and not just speed he's extremely agile loose hips and he's at full speed on first step. Also he's long he's not 6'3" either he's over 6'4".

And he's a hard working kid with great manners and attitude. Yes sir, no sir young man. Great family. They were all In maroon and white today and ringing cowbells. Extremely coachable. He'll be an nfl corner barring injury

New sherriff in town. All that "leach doesn't recruit stuff" is a myth.

Now we wait to hear about Ajay Allen, Tyrese Chambers (transfer)...and ?
With Clayton in the boat that makes 18. Thomas, Pope, and Moss will come between jan and feb signing days so that puts up at 21 before any portal players come in.
Now the real fun starts...

Seeing as the recruiting profiles of both WSU and Tech jumped 20 spots while he was there I'd say that's very true. Now he's at a program where just jumping 10 spots from the norm puts us in undiscovered country.

As Paul mentioned... very happy with the players we got. 2 4* and 5 more 3* that are all ranked 88 or above but just below the threshold for 4*. (89)

Marcus Banks, the Bama transfer CB still is out there and will decide towards the end of the week. He's a big need.

Thomas and Pope have already signed and are just waiting to announce it with their teammates. Moss hasn't signed because of grades, but he's expected to qualify.
