He's a little raw, but he's long and has ball skills. Pretty physical for a skinny guy- High ceiling. Lots to work with. McB can coach, so I'd feel pretty good if Nicholson signed up here.

This. It's his first year playing corner but he's fast and agile as heck and a hardworker. Chances are a little better than a couple days ago but still don't get your hopes up.
Leach and just about the whole staff had an in home with him couple days ago.

The OV will be big. Getting his ear last can't hurt at all.

Not trying to get to much in his business. But, was this something that we did wrong, or was there an outside circumstance that made it really bad for him to consider State?

Absolutely nothing we did wrong. In fact DC and family love Leach and Arnett. Leach has been big in this and that stuff about him not being a recruiter is not true(at least in this case). A former Bulldog has been big in trying to get him too. This is a circumstance outside of our control.

We will see - I think he commits there b/c it's his best landing place for now. But if he indeed does not sign paperwork until Feb I'm betting he doesn't end up there.
Right now we're batting 2 for 3 on playing hardball with kids that flirt with OM toward the end. Pounders got left out entirely while RaRa appears to be better than Burkhalter at this point. MJ had whatever happened there depending on who you believe.

Better now than last minute. I don't know if Leach puts the ultimatum on these guys or what to say if you are in or out, but at least it gives us time to make an adjustment. Whose next in line?

From what I saw on Twitter we sent 1 coach. Not sure if we had something bigger planned but we only sent 1 coach.
